Are you looking for a way to document your favorite time of year in a new way?! I am always looking for new inspiration, and i couldn't pass this opportunity up. Kari Ramstrom andHope Wallace have put together a fabulous series of holiday e-courses. No plane ticket or hotel stay required...Hope and Kari are bringing the course to your home computer...all you need are your favorite supplies and a cup of cocoa!!
Well, this all sounds like heaven to me! I'm all signed up and i hope you can join us!!
The house smells like Pumpkin Crumble and we're listening to Christmas music. If the neighbors didn't think we were were nuts before today...well then the Christmas tunes blaring on Halloween day shold do the trick. We are packing and adding our last minute touches to our vendor goods for Silver Bella today, so Christmas has become priority.
I'm getting ready to pack these up for Silver Bella. They're for all the festive gals to wear, for decorating packages, and for hanging on trees. Nothing could be more vintage and sparkly than a holiday prize ribbon!
I am overwhelmed, to say the least. We are midway through our semester at Chapman and the demands are increasing. I am so looking forward to getting away for the weekend for Silver Bella. It will be such a drastic change from the education texts, writing and collaboration in class. I need ribbon and glue and glitter, dammit!! A girl just needs it sometimes.
I'll be back soon. Maybe. Much to do over the next 2 weeks!
These creations will be available at Silver Bella vendor night. I hope you'll come if you can!
This week has just been fantastic! I got my test results in the mail and i passed the math/science portion of the CSET, was signed off at work to perform various medical procedures for students, got my CPR certification renewed, i baked some pumpkin chocolate chip bars that were delish and fun to share at work...and well, i've been crafting! It's been a light homework week and i am taking full advantage. I am off to class in just 30 short minutes, so i better kick back and relax while i can.
Thanks to all my readers for your sweet comments. I do read them and they are SO uplifting! To my southern Cali peeps, have you just been LOVING the weather this week!!! I wore a sweatshirt yesterday!!!
Catch ya later...
P.S. I will be sharing a tutorial with you in the next few days. Stay tuned!
We are so thrilled to have our Halloween decorations out of their dusty storage boxes!!! I feel like i look forward to decorating for Halloween all year. We still have a few more corners to adorn, but the place is really coming together.
I made this little shadow box last year. I just took a Martha Stewart cookie/craft box and created a little circus world in it.
And did you see my sweet witchy-poo Annie doll?!!! Got her HERE a couple years ago.
The pumpkin spice candles are burning...and i'm a happy girl!
The decor was as magical as ever and it was hard to keep my cash in my pocket. The sun was beating down on us as we walked the gardens so we quickly got back in our air conditioned car...but i was sad to leave all of the fabulous decorations behind. I love Halloween. So magical.
I hope you are having a magical day too!
P.S. Their Christmas opening is October 8th!! Mark your calendars!
